Music band Korajunglejazz combines traditional African motives with contemporary world music. The sound of the West African harp, Kora, together with the guitar calms listeners down and stimulates their fantasy. |

![]() Jiří Bouda (1986)Music lector and multi-instrumentalist playing many melodic instruments and percussions. In 2001-2014, he was member of number of musicbands and took a part in many music projects (Tubabu, Shivanam, Tshjamm...) He has been learning to play kora by masters in West African Guinea then in England and France. Epina Bagoura, Djakali Kone, Famadou Konate, Mohamed Bangoura, Adam Dougty and others has been masters of rythm and melody. He currently composes music, teaches the children and adults, concerts whith band Korajunglejazz, and takes part in many music projects of Denbaya. |
![]() Pavel Šmíd (1989)Guitarist and percussionist. He started music in 2004, when he founded his first band "Protože" in Hradec Kralove. At the same time he was interested in the West African rhythms and he was a drummer in band Yaye Oye Afrika. In the same period he was a bassplayer in band Haro. Since 2008 he has lived in Brno where he became a member of band Tubabu and was guest member of band Baharat. He is corrently member of bands Fried Ace and Korajunglejazz. He drums to the lecture courses of West African dance and the music projects of Denbaya. |
